The 2024 International Forum on AI Cooperation and Governance was successfully held on December 2–3 at the National University of Singapore. Co-hosted by Tsinghua University, the National University of Singapore, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the forum brought together global leaders from academia, industry, and policy to address the critical issues of artificial intelligence governance and safety.
Vireon Consulting joined the forum as a participating enterprise, engaging in multiple sessions dedicated to AI safety, regulation, and global standards. The company attended the high-level “AI Safety Plenary Session” on December 2, co-organized by Anyuan AI and Singapore’s AI Verify Foundation, which explored collaborative approaches to global AI safety governance.
Keynote speakers at the plenary included Prof. Lam Kwok Yan, Director of the Singapore Institute for AI Safety; Prof. Xue Lan, Dean of the Institute for AI International Governance at Tsinghua University; Dr. Jade Leung, CTO of the UK’s AI Safety Institute; Prof. Tang Jie, Chief Scientist of Zhipu AI; and Dr. Friederike Grosse-Holz, AI Safety Officer at the EU AI Office. The roundtable session was moderated by Ms. Xie Minxi, CEO of Anyuan AI, with opening remarks by Mr. Zhou Jiesheng, Senior Research Manager at Anyuan AI and Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University.
