In October 2024, Vireon Information Consulting Pte. Ltd. reached a preliminary cooperation agreement with the Southeast Insight Institute, a regional think tank based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The two sides will collaborate on research and publication efforts focused on digital economy governance, cross-border data policy, and regional coordination mechanisms, aiming to promote mutual trust and institutional alignment among emerging economies in Southeast Asia and the broader Global South.
The cooperation will proceed in stages, with the first joint policy report expected in Q1 2025. Plans are also underway to launch a dedicated column titled Regional Governance Watch, which will monitor trends in data sovereignty, green supply chains, and AI governance within emerging markets.
Both teams have expressed confidence that the collaboration will leverage their respective strengths in policy research, strategic communication, and regional network development, providing targeted insights and actionable recommendations for government and corporate clients.
